The versatility of PDF: Improving efficiencies across industries
Make PDF work for your department and industry. Check out this datasheet for details.
If I’m ever speaking at a conference or presenting a webinar, one of the main things you’ll hear me talk about is the benefits of using PDFs in an organization. It’s a topic I can go on about for hours – literally! However, don’t be fooled – not all PDFs are created equal! PDFs created using Advanced Rendering software surpass the rest by far.
One of main benefits of PDF is its versatility. No matter which industry you’re in – whether it’s Life Sciences, Financial Services, Government or something else – there is going to be a time when you realize creating PDFs with Advanced Rendering is going to make your life a whole lot easier at work.
Improving efficiencies with PDF across industries
Let’s take a look at how certain industries use PDFs within their organizations to improve the efficiency of document-centric processes:
Life Sciences: Organizations generate compliant and submission-ready PDFs that meet regulatory guidelines from the FDA and other health agencies.
Government: Agencies and departments improve the fulfillment of public service requests, including those received under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) by converting paper, email, faxes, scans and other file formats to standardized PDFs.
Financial Services: Companies provide their customers with a better, more consistent experience when submitting policies, renewals and claims, or when finalizing contracts, approvals and other customer correspondence.
Manufacturing: Organizations automate critical document workflows to enable efficient and secure collaboration across the supply chain and across documents such as standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals.
Energy and Utilities: Companies convert complex engineering CAD drawings, Microsoft Office files and a host of legacy file types into standardized PDF documents that meet industry regulatory and archiving requirements.
Legal: Law firms reduce costs and manage paperwork by using automated content conversion to create closing binders (also called closing sets) as PDFs to provide a complete, searchable electronic record to clients.
Education: Institutions convert course material, resumes or published papers to PDF to enable all stakeholders to view, distribute and share documents more effectively.
AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction): Organizations render CAD designs, Microsoft Office documents and proprietary file formats into PDF to create customer-ready proposal documents, RFPs and design specifications.
